Colorado Bound
We spent almost 3 weeks exploring the beautiful state of Colorado covering many miles in our Thor Scope 18M Camper Van. We journeyed into the Great Sand Dunes, Colorado Springs, the Rocky Mountains, the Black Canyon of the Gunnison, along the Million Dollar Highway into the towns of Ouray, Silverton, and Durango. We camped at our first Harvest Host before checking out Ouray.
On the way out of Colorado we visited Mesa Verde. We even fit in Monument Valley, the Four Corners and wrapped up in Roswell. Come take the journey with us now. Watch our films, read the journal entries, enjoy the ride of Colorado Bound!
Creating Travel Films
We film all our travels. We have a system in place that allows us to capture photographs, video footage from our trips. We then later edit them using Final Cut Pro and some other software tools at our disposal. We base our films off our travels and journals we have written while out on the road. We enjoy the process of creating our films and sharing them with family and friends like you! I have had the passion of writing passed down to me from my mother. I love to write stories, tell stories and put it down on actual paper with a pen. Now, I’m sharing all my thoughts on the process with you, if you are curious. This section is dedicated to sharing the processes we use and the actual gear that we use and recommend. I say again, only the gear we use, that we like.
Everything We Know About Van Life
We purchased our 2021 Thor Scope 18M RV Camper Van in 2021. We have been on many voyages in her, the “Aloha,” over the past three years. We have traveled all over the United States and even into Canada. We have come to know life on the road very well. Our van is only 18 feet long, less than 9 feet tall, and less than 7 feet wide. There isn’t a whole lot of room inside but it has been the perfect size for Amy and I. We would like to share all of good Van Life experiences with you, and the bad, and then the ugly. This is the place to learn what we have learned and experienced about this way of life and traveling! Come on board, we’re expecting you!
